Originally from Anderson, South Carolina, Meg Dorsel was baptized and confirmed at First Presbyterian Church, where her foundation of faith first took root. She earned a B.A. in Historic Preservation from the College of Charleston and a secondary degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Charleston. After more than a decade working in marketing for local nonprofits and restaurants, Meg felt a calling to use her gifts to serve Westminster while also embracing her role as a stay-at-home mom.
Guided by her favorite scripture, Hebrews 12:1, Meg believes we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who help strengthen our foundation in Christ. She is passionate about sharing the good news and fostering connection within the church community, finding joy in helping others stay engaged, encouraged, and rooted in faith. Meg is married to Chris, who occasionally plays guitar in worship, and together they have three children—Kennedy, Watson, and Mary Stone.
