The mission of the Westminster is that we are called to be and to make disciples who love God and who love our neighbors. The events below help support our neighbors who are doing God’s work in our community.

Water Mission’s Walk for Water is a unique event where you have the opportunity to walk in the shoes of our global neighbors. By doing so, you raise awareness and funds to help end the global water crisis.

[accordion_section title=”Hammer it Out Hustle”]
The Hammer It Out Hustle 5k and Fun Run runs in conjunction with the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer campaign.  Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer was started in 2013 by Chuck and Christine Towne in an effort to give back to MUSC after their son, Chase, went through months of treatments after being diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at the age of 8 months.  Through the support of the community the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer campaign as donated thousands of dollars to the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The all-volunteer board works passionately in hopes of making a difference with children and families battling cancer.

There’s a new movement, in the church world, calling Grandparents to a purposeful, meaningful, family ministry that can leave a legacy…a heritage…with consequential eternal results! Get on board! The Intentional Grandparenting Conference is a regional conference for today’s Christian grandparents who want to be inspired and equipped to pass on their faith and disciple their grandchildren.  Elmer Towns says, “Use the ‘rest of your life’ to give the ‘best of your life!”
