The Senior Adult Ministry at Westminster is designed for people 55 years of age and older. Throughout the year events such as luncheons, dinners, coffee hours, and other socials are planned. At times we offer informative seminars of interest to those who attend.
SAM also plans day and over-night trips to places of interest around our beautiful state. We also plan trips to other states. These include our annual trip to the North Georgia mountains, which always includes a trip to see an Atlanta Braves Baseball Game. Every October we include a trip to the South Carolina Inn in Montreat, NC.
Other activities include keeping in touch with our shut-ins with cards, visits, meals, and other remembrances. We assist with our Food Pantry, Hands of Christ, and Hooks and Needles Ministries.
