Wasn’t Easter worship glorious? It was so good to be together to celebrate, and even if you were not able to join us in person or for the livestream, you can still view the service at wpccharleston.org anytime.

One of the highlights for me was singing that powerful stanza of Thine Is the Glory at the end of the sanctuary service. The clarity of the Gospel is offered in such a concise (and singable!) few lines:

Lo! Jesus meets us,
risen from the tomb;
lovingly he greets us,
scatters fear and gloom.
Let the church with gladness
hymns of triumph sing,
for the Lord now liveth;
death hath lost its sting.

Friends, Jesus is alive, and it makes all the difference in the world. Cling to the Good News; it is stronger than any enemy we face.

With Easter Joy!!
