I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Psalm 122:1

Dear Church Family,

I’m so glad to tell you we are resuming in-person worship this Sunday, October 11th. The Session unanimously approved the recommendation from the Worship Committee, along with the protocols you should read and follow [HERE].

While the number of Covid cases in South Carolina and Charleston is still greater than it was when we suspended in-person worship more than six months ago, it now appears we are in a marathon and not a sprint, and we do not think it is good for the spiritual health of the church to stay away until Covid is completely gone.

Therefore, we are starting small: one service lasting less than 1 hour with overflow seating in Covenant Hall; no nursery or Children’s and Wee Church offered. We urge each person to exercise good judgment when deciding if the time is right for you to attend. We intend to closely follow the protocols and appreciate your patience and cooperation. Daily Prayer services will no longer be offered after the 11th. We will continue to livestream and will expand as needed and as we are able to do so safely.

Lastly, since we are not sure what attendance to expect, if you are planning to come this week, will you please call the church office (843.766.8311) or email Nita (office@wpccharleston.org) by noon Friday and let us know.  It sure will help with planning.

Friends, God is so good, and his mercies never end.  I look forward to seeing you soon.

Pastor Daniel
