But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.    Philippians 3:20-21

Through the years, I’ve fielded questions about the bodily resurrection of Jesus and what it means for us.  The resurrection of Jesus gives us hope!  Not hope in an uncertain sense (like I hope the Braves will win the World Series this year), but real, solid, certain hope.

This Sunday, I’m going to preach about the promises God gives us about our eternal future.  What happens when we die?  Is Jesus really returning? What about our resurrected bodies? Is there a day of judgment we should be worried about?

While we do not have all the pieces to the puzzle (please avoid teachers who say they do!), there are some foundational truths we can count on.

See you Sunday,

Daniel
