From Pastor Daniel:

In a broken and hurting world, in our broken and hurting families, and in our broken and hurting lives, we need peace. The Good News of Christmas is that our peace is found through the gift of Jesus Christ. Consider:
• Isaiah prophesied that the one to be born would be called The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
• When the heavenly host praised God before the shepherds, their song was one of peace: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” (Luke 2:14)
• The apostle Paul understood the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as the pathway to peace.
o “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.” (Ephesians 2:14)
o “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:17)
o “…and through Jesus to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.” (Colossians 1:20)
Make it a priority to gather with the church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning to hear and receive the Good News of peace. Let God fill you with the gift of peace in the days ahead.

Peace on Earth,

Pastor Daniel
